WOW finds new way to get your money: Visa - priceless

Seriously, this should surprise no one. Blizzard has teamed up with First of Omaha bank (a decent company in my experience) to do WOW branded credit cards. You spend money, you earn gametime as you spend at a rate of 1% per dollar. They don’t say how many points you need to spend to get the game time. If my math is right, that means you would spend roughly $1500 to earn 1 month of game play. That’s a lot of Chinese take-out.

They offer 13 different styles of card. It’s drawn artwork, not screenshots.

I took a look at the fineprint and the card has some good features:
9.00% APR for the first 12 billing cyles (read 1 year). After that it’s between 9.99% and 13.99%
Balance transfers get 0.00$ APR for the first 12 months.
No annual Fee

It’s a pretty good package. I think Blizzard did some arm twisting.
